This week has been.....

Insane! So both Hayley and I were sick on Friday. Then on Saturday night, as many of you have heard, Hayley went to the hospital. I felt very unloved because my mom barely even said hi to me when she got back from the hospital. So I was pretty much ignored for the next few days. Sunday was boring, but I was really tired because Hayley kept talking and coughing in her sleep ( I share a room with her at my dad's house) and she kept waking me up. On Monday, I was sick again , so my mom took Hayley and I to the doctor. They tested me for flu, and drew blood. I have no idea why they took blood, but whatever. I don't have flu, but I have a cold. I went to school on Tuesday, only to be bombarded with questions from my friends about my sister. The same day, I found out that one of my friends had been suspended while I was gone. I'm not sure what he did. After school that day, I went to the doctor and found out that I have ADD. At least now I know why I can never focus. That night at dinner, my mom repeated a hilarious joke that Jeff told us. I barfed/spit the milk I was drinking all over the table. I looked like a baby that had just spit up. This made my mother crack up. Ha. Hilarious. This morning, I woke up late. I was having a bad hair day, and I was just tired. Then I had an orthodontist appointment after school, so my mom picked me up. As soon as I get in the car, my mom tells me that Arlie has sliced her finger open. Awesome. Another doctor visit. By now, we have bought them a nice TV. We're just cool like that.

However, some good things did happen this week. Saturday night, I got to babysit my former piano teacher's son, Lukas. He is 1, and he's really cute. Then, on Sunday, my dad put a TV in our room so Hayley could stay in bed. We spent the day watching movies, including Santa Clause 2 and The Land Before Time. Haha. We're so mature. On Monday, I got to miss school again, which is always a plus, even though I was sick. Monday night, I forced Arlie to watch Narnia with me ( she has never seen it). We had a little movie party in my room, which included root beer and graham crackers. It is now her favorite movie. She is counting down the days until the second one comes out, just like me ( 6 days! OMG!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!). On Tuesday, despite the annoying questions, I got lots of hugs. You see, I don't usually miss two days of school in a row. Not to mention, I was gone on Friday and Monday, so nobody saw me for 4 days! So my friends were glad to have me back. That night, Arlie made me watch her favorite parts of Narnia again. She ended up getting in trouble because it was "past her bedtime" (Wow, two minutes. Big whoop) but it was still fun. Today, when I was finished and walking out to the waiting area of my orthodontist, I saw some of our friends that we haven't seen in a long time. My mom talked to them forever and then we finally left. And now, I am in my comfy jammies. The reason I am still up at 10:17 is because.........WE HAVE A FOUR-DAY-WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phew. Sorry, I got a little excited. Just a little. Tiny bit. Teehee. But anyway, I shall retire to my television now. I'm not tired yet. And I'm saving up for my tiredness for tomorrow. I will be sleeping off the 9,000 calories from my Thanksgiving dinner. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!!!

Grayland

Harrison being cute. Notice my mother in the background. lol
I thought Arlie looked really pretty in this picture

Just a cool picture taken by yours truly on one of the dunes

Our tiny little yurt sweet yurt
Above are some pictures I took in Grayland this weekend. We went camping there over night so Jeff could go clamming. It was pretty fun. We stayed in a yurt, which was only about 10 feet by 10 feet. So we were pretty squished. But cozy at the same time. So enjoy the pics!

Grades.....

I haven't been doing to well in school lately. As in, I have two F's. One in history, one in gym (I know. Gym! How does that even happen?!) I have had lots of trouble focusing. So I was talking to my friend Ian, and he was saying that he felt strangely focused today (that's a rare occasion for Ian) and he told me that it could be because he took his ADD medicine this morning. I told my mom about Ian and she said that we should get me tested. Which I am totally up for, because I know I'm smart and can do waaaay better. My teachers know I'm smart to, they've told me. So anyway, I'm actually looking forward to finding out if I have ADD. I will finally know the cause of my failure. But anyway, let's talk about something happy. Or as Arlie would say...., "I don't want to talk about this. Let's talk about something else, like.....life. Or ducks! I like ducks."
So I pulled my hair up in a ponytail today. I don't normally do this because 1. My hair does not go up easily. It's very thick and 2. I have abnormally large ears. I'm not kidding. I look like a monkey. My mom said, " They were much bigger when you were little. I was a good mom. I didn't put your hair in a ponytail." She was probably afraid my ears would catch a strong breeze and I would become the human Dumbo. But anyways, I only pulled it up because we had to do an experiment in science and we are required to have our hair up. I actually got some compliments on it. So I think I will put it up tommorrow. But anyway, my dad is telling me to take a shower. So I will obey him. But only because I have to. Tata for now!

The Hayley, Hannah, and Jessica Show

My sister thought it would be fun to make a webshow. At first it was just going to be Hayley and I, but then my BFFL (Best Friend For Life) Jessica slept over last night. She is not only amazing in every way, but she is also hilarious. Well, we decided to act out the 10 different types of guys in High School. There was the Jock, Nerd, Perv, Emo, Drama Geek, Poet, Gay Guy, Poser, Class President, and Perfect Guy ( WARNING: DOES NOT ACTUALLY EXIST ). It was really fun. Jessica played the Jock, Nerd, Perv, Drama Geek, Poser, and Perfect Guy. I played the Emo, Poet, Gay Guy, and Class President. While playing the Emo guy, it took about 17 takes because I had to keep a straight face while saying, "Hi, I'm Morris. I love death, and dead puppies." That is not an easy task folks. Hayley eventually had to hide her face because she kept smiling, which made me laugh. That was yesterday. Skip to this morning..... Hayley decided it would be hilarious to make Harrison, Arlie, and Rylile get into their bathing suits so we could spray them with the hose. Now keep in mind, it was about 38 degrees outside. Well, at first they refused. But a dollar does wonders. So we finlmed them while I sprayed each child until they were soaked right down to the bone. Now I can check that off my list of "How To Torture My Siblings Before I Die". Haha just kidding. Kind of.

Weekends, Macaroni, and Narnia

So today is Sunday. We don't have school on Monday or Tuesday, so yeah. 4 day weekends are pretty rare, and wouldn't you know it, you always happen to do absolutley nothing. I have benn so bored. I'm also very hungry. Because of the torture device in my mouth, the most solid thing I have eaten in the last 3 days is a bowl of macaroni. Actually, half a bowl. I gave up after a noodle got lodged above the evil box. It took me 10 minutes to get it out. I swear, I'm going to lose 20 pounds by the time I get this thing off. Of course, that wouldn't be such a horrible thing...........anyway! I finally finished Twilight. It was a really good book, but I am definately not as obsessed as Hayley. What I am obsessed with is Narnia. I know, very nerdy. But ever since I saw the second movie, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, I have been hooked. I don't know why, but I've started to like movies that take place in midevil times. Now I have to wait until December 2nd for Prince Caspian to come out on DVD (Christmas idea Mommy!) so I can watch it with commentary. Yes, I do love watching the first Narnia movie with the commentary. William Mosely (Peter), Anna Popplewell (Susan), Skandar Keynes (Edmund), and Georgie Henley (Lucy) are really funny (In the second movie Ben Barnes plays Prince Caspian). Especially Georgie. She's the same age as me, so in the commentary she was about 10, and in the commentary she tells all these irrelevant stories. Shes kinda like me in a lot of ways. I added a picture of them (Going from left to right, Georgie Henley, William Moseley, Ben Barnes, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes) But anyway, I hope you liked my Narnia rant. If not, I understand. Not everyone is as weird as I am. Haha

Whos cruel idea was it to put an 's' in 'lisp'?

So I got my braces and expander today. Everything felt fine.....until they tightened the expander. The pain lasted for about 15 minutes and then I was fine. Until I tried to drink a milkshake. I looked like an old man with no teeth! With every bite, (I was using a spoon) only half of it made it down my throat. The other half dribbled down my chin. You are probably wondering why. I will tell you. So the expander, for those of you who don't know, is an appliance (wow! A big word! I don't use those a lot. Anyhoo) that has 4 metal rings that fit around your teeth. There are 4 bars that all meet up in the center of the roof of my mouth. There, the evil box lies. There is a microscopic hole in the box that you have to put the key/wire into. Then you just crank and there you go. Pain. But the reason I was drooling was because there is a 1/2 inch gap between the top of my mouth and the box. So food gets stuck up there, or it all runs out of my mouth. This is definately going to take some getting used to. But on the bright side, the braces are actually pretty cute. They are blue and green, my two favorite colors. I will upload some pictures. Or attempt to. Oh yeah, I talk like an idiot with the expander. Just thought I'd add that in. But anyway, my dad is telling me to go to bed. So nighty-night my fellow readers. Tomorrow, I'm gonna get beat up! Woo! (That was sarcastic, just in case you didn'tt get that. *coughmothercough*)

Braces

So I'm getting braces tomorrow. But oh no, it doesn't stop there. I'm also getting an expander, and they are cutting away my gum in the two spots where my teeth that were pulled in 4th grade are still missing. The teeth are finally coming in, so they are going to speed up the process by cutting away my gum and connecting chains. The chains will be connected to the braces, and the missing teeth will eventually be lined up with their friends. So take that underdevelopement! Ha! Anyhoo......so I thought that I would go in every few weeks and get my expander tightened. I thought wrong. Apparently, my mom and dad tighten it at home. Pardon my french, but WTH?!?!?!? There is just something wrong with that. It's just not okay. Knowing my parents, they will crank the stupid thing util I'm sobbing in pain. The ortho even said that Hayley could do it! Well I got two words for you Hayley; Fat. Chance. Oh, she just wishes she could stick her grubby hand in my mouth and watch me cry out in pain. Get used to disappointment Hayley, and if you can't get used to that, get used to a sore hand with bite marks all over it! Ha! Stick THAT in your juice box and suck it! (That was not an inappropriet remark, by the way. It's just something we say. Deal with it.)

I Cracked Her!

Woohoo!!!!!!! I finally convinced my mom to let me have a blog! Ah, the puppy dog face. Works every time. Anyhoo......I guess I should let my fellow family readers know what I'm up to lately. Let's just get one thing straight.......8th grade sucks. Okay, it's not that bad. But for the past few weeks, the only interesting thing that has happened is some guy's pants falling down in math the other day. But other than that...........nothing to report. But let's go on to a cherrier topic. Like my interests. I love singing. Almost all of my closest friends are in choir with me. Kylie, Hailey and I are choir besties (best friends, for those of you who don't speak 13-year-old). Lars and Drew are like my "big" brothers. Lars is 8 months older than me, while Drew is only 5 days older than me. He teases me about being his "little" sister (he was born on August 4th, my due date. I tell him he stole my birthday), so I just say that he will die first. That shuts him up. Haha but yeah, I love all of my friends. We would do anything for each other. But back to singing. I used to want to be a zoologist, but ever since I was in the Talent Show last year, I have had dreams of being in the spotlight. Speaking of spotlights, you should all go on YouTube and watch my friend Tiffany's videos. She is tiny, and it's hard to imagine such a big voice coming out of a little thing like her. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=trbonner13&search_type=&aq=f.
Oh yeah, funny story! Today, I came home to find nobody in the house. So I called my mom to check in with her, and right after I got off the phone with her, I went to let the dogs in. When I opened the door, the dogs came rushing in, and I just happened to look up. And sitting in the grass, 10 feet away, was a huge coyote. I was stunned, and my heart started beating fast. I wasn't scared, I was amazed! The coyote made eye contact with me, and we just stared at each other for a few minutes. Then he slowly stood up, and picked up my dog's toy. Yes, Georgette's old fire hydrant chew toy that we lost in the woods a long time ago. I started laughing, and he looked at me one more time, then he trotted off into the woods. I called my mom and dad right after. They thought it was awesome, and it was! So that was my enthusiasm for the day. Well, I'm going to go shower. Which is a good thing for everybody. Haha! I'm so funny, I crack my self up! Write more later!
